Bend Wins Award at CPSA 15th Annual Show

Bend won the Phoenix, AZ, District Chapter 212 Award for Excellence at the CPSA 15th Annual International Show. You can view the other award winners at the CPSA website. Check out my Shows and Events link to see some pictures from this past weekend’s trip to Bethesda for the artist’s reception.

    Shawn, you know how much I love this piece. Again, congratulations! You are truer to your artistic vision than most cp artists posting on the Internet.

    Thanks very much, Cindy, and congrats on your award, also! It was great meeting you at the CPSA show – I’ve been a fan of your work since seeing your piece posted on the 14th Annual awards page. That’s 2 years in a row for you – next year you earn signature status – woo-hoo!

    Oh, thank you for the nice comments, Shawn. I would love to make Signature next year, but I’ve known people who have had lapses of a few years between acceptances, so I’ll just give it my best shot and cross my fingers. :-)

    I’m looking forward to seeing your piece in the RI show. Will you be at the reception, by any chance?
