Shawn – don’t touch a thing! This is so unbelievably beautiful, I’m almost at a loss for words. I saw it in ST, but not being a member, couldn’t post there. I’m not even a fan of nudes, but this is absolutely astounding. Don’t touch the lighting – it is superb. You should enter this in as many competitions as possible – it’s a winner for sure.

Thanks Ollie! Glad you like the lighting – it was tricky, and I wasn’t sure how it was going to read. I’m thinking of doing another pic from this series, a little smaller and on Stonehenge paper.

I think I’m the only person who doesn’t get good results with Stonehenge – have been using illustration board and find Stonehenge to be almost too soft! Have heard many say that they lose color on certain black supports – again, just me I’m sure, but I lose color on the *white* Stonehenge; sinks in!!
The skin tones on this are almost opalescent (sp?). Very beautiful. And doing portraits myself (learning), I truly appreciate the difficulty of the lighting. Can’t wait to see your next one.

Thanks Rob! I’ve got another work in progress that’s in the same large (18 x 24) format as this one and Distraction. Hopefully I’ll have it completed and posted in the next few weeks.
